2nd Grade Grading Policy

In second grade, students are graded on a three-point, rubric based scale from 1-3. Student work, quarterly assessments, subject assessments, benchmark assessments, social skills and class participation all contribute to your child's grade.

 

3 = Student is consistently applying this skill (80-100% proficiency).
2 = Student is inconsistently applying this skill (60-79% proficiency).
1 = Student is not meeting grade level expectations (below 60% proficiency).

 

These grades will appear on student's quarterly progress reports and report cards.
