2nd Grade Grading Policy

In second grade, students are graded on a three-point, rubric based scale from 1-4. Student work, quarterly assessments, subject assessments, benchmark assessments, social skills and class participation all contribute to your child's grade.

 

                                       4 = Student is consistently and independently applying this skill (90-100%)

3 = Student is consistently applying this skill but lacks independence (80-89%)

2 = Student is inconsistently applying this skill (70-79%)

1 = Student is not meeting expectations and intervention is needed (<69%)

 

These grades will appear on student's quarterly progress reports and report cards.
