Individual Counseling
Individual counseling is provided to students as needed. Individual counseling is provided based on referrals from teachers, parents, and students themselves. Students can complete a self-referral by asking their teacher to visit the counselor, or by completing the student check in form provided by their teacher.
Common topics of Individual Counseling Sessions include:
- Behavior Issues
- Anxiety
- Test Taking Skills
- Developing Appropriate Learning Behavior
- Loss of someone or a pet
- Social Skills
- Separation/Divorce
- Making and Maintaining Friendships
- Self-Esteem
- Abuse
- Bullying
