The Story of Hasty Elementary School
The original Hasty school, constructed in 1928, was a product of the consolidation of Boston, Kennedy, and White Hart schools. The building served all grade levels and consisted of sixteen classrooms, an auditorium, and a gymnasium.
In 1975, Hasty became a traditional elementary school and served grades K-5. In November 1987, ground was broken for the construction of a new elementary school. On August 23, 1989 the current Hasty Elementary school opened for students.
Many of our community members have attended Hasty. In our media center, we have framed class pictures of former graduates on the wall. Please feel free to stop by and see aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents who are former students of our great school, Hasty!
